We are offering a COLOR COPY of the 1895 original Edgebrook Subdivision, an important historical plat map that shows a progression in Chicago development/urbanization. This is a photostat [made of the original drawing] and is of basically the same area as the Chicago Atlas Page, listed for sale by us earlier. It shows [now highly populated] an area, located North of the North Branch of Chicago River & with the Chicago-Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway (now - Metra) running through it. Also, please notice that this plat is a Re-Subdivision of parts of Billy Caldwell's Reservation.
This is a rather large plat - 25" x 46"; considering the age it was backed on fabric for preservation by one of our predecessors in early 1930s and made into a booklet.
You have a choice of receiving your copy in a roll or folded like accordion to resemble the original booklet. The black hard cover, shown in pictures, is NOT included into this sale.
As all other our maps & plats, this one has some surveyor's indexing markings & notes from various surveying projects, completed in the area.
